Description:	A computer program to calculate temperature and vapor fraction in a geothermal reservoir using the quartz geothermometry was written in Visual Basic 6.0. Four representative types of regression equations are programmed. The quadratic regression equation of the inverse of absolute temperature and pressure fits well all the experimental solubility data in pure water along the saturation curve and provides better agreement between calculated and measured downhole temperatures in the case of Cerro Prieto.
